About this deal

But despite the beauty of the daytime world, the little owl decides that the night-time stars are the most beautiful of all. I liked this book as it had a nice story to it whilst also providing a clear range of colours for baby to look at. The colours are mainly pastel which is a nice contrast to most childrens books.

really enjoy reading this to my little girl, she giggles whenever i say "WOW said the owl" a lovely bedtime storyLittle owl is the only character in the book and thestorystarts by explaining that owls stayawake during thenight before it introduces little owl’s very ‘un-owl-like’ behaviour. Throughout the day little owlsees seven different colours, some in the sky, some in the trees and flowers but also when it gets dark. My youngets daughter got this book by both her and I attending a reading group and she has trouble talking but she says WOW and loves the book... From the warm, pink glow of dawn through to a day filled with the bright colours of green leaves, blue sky, white clouds and, finally, a stunning rainbow – ‘WOW!’ But despite the beauty of the daytime world, the little owl decides that the night-time stars are the most beautiful of all. Mummy and Ellie-Lara bot love sharing this book. Its a great book to explore colours and wildlife. We loved the repeating phrase..."Wow" could be one of our first words!
