The lights have three ¼-20-inch mounting points and the tilting support supplied has an umbrella mount. In addition to its 8-Leaf Barndoors, 60x includes a custom Bowens Mount Adapter that attaches to its accessory mount and allows it to use Bowens Mount soft light modifiers. Utilizing its 60W LED Output, with 78W max power draw, the amaran P60x is capable of outputting 5,070 lux at 1 meter (5600K) due to its optical design, which gives it a 45° beam angle. The 60x launches with 9 built-in lighting FX, such as Paparazzi, Fireworks, Lightning, Faulty Bulb, TV, Pulsing, Strobe, Explosion, and Fire, with adjustable color temperature control.
In addition to the included AC Power supply, The fixtures can be powered using the included Dual Sony NP-F Battery Plate, or a D-Tap Battery (cable sold separately), which attaches to the V-Mount plate located on the side of the light. In addition to the included power supply, you can power the COB 60d S using the included Dual Sony NP-F Battery Plate or a D-Tap Battery*. The light would overheat without it, but I’d have liked a way to adjust fan curves, instead of having the fan turn on immediately. It looked much better when I reshot it at 50% brightness, though I still had to tone down the highlights slightly.
Speaking of portability, the COB 60x comes packaged in a surprisingly-hard foam case with a handle and two latches to keep the contents secure.
