About this deal

The book is divided into three parts: "Finding Our Way," "Connecting with the Bigger Picture," and "Living a Spiritual Life. I'm certainly ready to start again and the timing, in itself, was somewhat of a sign which makes it even more apt to read. What stood out for me with all her discussions with the key opinion leaders in their area, is that there a common theme running through - that those who find happiness excel when there is time out/self care. Maybe if my characterful nose and bulbous eyes were applauded, I would find it easier to look in the mirror without judgement? If you're my age, it's likely you grew up listening to Fearne on the radio and on TV so there's something comforting in it being her to bring these stories to us.

Having started the book sitting at the top of 'cynic rock' I can say I'm slowly starting to come down the mountain. i also like the way she scripts what was said in interviews she undertook with people she has crossed paths with and how they have helped fearne herself. I especially appreciated the section on enneagram types, 'cause boy has that helped me understand what's going on in my head. Bigger Than Us is for anyone seeking a path through our confusing lives and offers inspiration for tapping into the strength and comfort around us and releasing the blocks and insecurities that hold us back.

The summarisation of everything we’ve heard a hundred times, but coupled with expert views and a much deeper - relatable and personal- dive, makes for a book I intend to read again and again. I’ve always felt that I’m spiritual rather than religious, and so much of this book gave me goosebumps and eureka moments.

Cotton also presented the United Kingdom's votes at the show itself, held in Helsinki, Finland, on 12 May 2007.To help us peel back the red shiny wrapper of love so we can feel it more, see it more clearly and understand its potency I am going to explore several different subjects with some incredible people I’ve met over the years, to help us on our merry way. Tour de France winner and Giro hero Geraint Thomas brings his podcast to the stage as he shares stories from his career and tells you about his greatest-ever rides. Fearne also talks to a bunch of fab people all in their respective fields and I loved reading her interviews with them.

Cotton had interviewed some of her favourite practitioners in each field - but these were people she has previously had on her 'Happy Place' podcast, so I felt a bit short changed. In the first part, Cotton discusses the importance of finding our own path and trusting our intuition. She has hosted parts of the Red Nose Day telethon for Comic Relief (2005, 2007, 2009 and 2011) presenting several strands alongside Jonathan Ross and Lenny Henry. Jambo Truong, a teacher in anatomy, body work, ceremony, meditation and yoga, will introduce you to the benefits of meditation and guide you through a live exercise. With their help, she peels back layers of anxiety and self-limiting beliefs to find contentment, happiness, and deeper meaning. With their help, I peeled back layers of anxiety and self-limiting beliefs to find contentment and deeper meaning. Featuring interviews covering topics such as meditation, prayer, ritual, the enneagram and more, Fearne embarks on a journey to find peace, calm and connection. On the night, after the final "sing-off" between the two remaining acts, Wogan and Cotton simultaneously announced different winners. I am definitely team sceptic however, I think that most people will take something from this book and find a passage that resonates with them.

I love how she lays out the interpretation of different areas of spirituality, followed by her honest opinion and experience of these areas, and then gets some great people in these areas to answer some honest directed questions. Join the Scottish detective, David Swindle, who brought serial killer Peter Tobin to justice, for a chilling, thrilling night at the theatre. I have always had a deep interest in all things spiritual and whilst I dont and haven't used all of the spiritual practices discussed in this book it has still been interesting to explore other spiritual practices and beliefs from around the world, and it has inspired me to try some new techniques and practices too. Cotton began her presenting career in 1996, at the age of 15, [9] with early-morning GMTV children's programme The Disney Club, after winning a competition for young talent to present the show. The book covers interesting topics including meditation, rituals, astrology, the law of attractions and many more.In a modern world full of stress, anxiety and the pressure to constantly be doing more, this book is essential reading. In June 2012, Cotton was one of the BBC's presenters for its coverage of the Thames Diamond Jubilee Pageant. From intuition and energy to the law of attraction, ritual, prayer and signs, Fearne will share the positive ideas and exercises that are available to every single one of us as well as give you the chance to put your question to her and experts.
