I’m not sure, but I kept wishing she would just come out and share her feelings instead of hiding them cause she’s scared of falling in love. Also, the fact that she was 7 months pregnant, they only met for the first time when she was already pregnant (with someone else’s baby) and it ended up in a perfect HEA all within the span of 3 months… without a serious talk of what jumping into a relationship when she’s prego with someone else’s baby means… idk, bugged me a little.

He was made to be an OB/GYN and seeing how happy he is to answer questions from the nervous mothers was adorable. i can’t get enough of her characters, her stories, her funny dialogues and beautiful, mushy happy endings. I’ll agree to your terms, move into your house, and act like your girlfriend when the big day comes; but I also plan to make your life miserable—make you pay for what you did to me. All novels given here for educational and informational purposes to benefit site visitors, and is provided at no charge. But an underlying current of attraction emerges in the middle of the battlefield, which only intensifies the emotions and raises the stakes. he’s sweet and sensible and seriously, if men like him exist i’ll gladly take one, thank u very much. You steamrolled your way into my life and reminded me how good it feels to let go a little…to fight, to play, to laugh. It's no secret that I love to be entertained when reading and I love when I am left with an emotional high. The pranks, as much as they should have been hilarious, they weren't and the proposal prank was so messed up on different levels.

The Temporary Roomie by Sarah Adams | Goodreads

En su historia lo conocemos a mayor profundidad, nos enteramos de que es de estas personas que tratan de arreglar todo para que ninguno de los que ama sufra, por lo que no se da tiempo para ser feliz o espontáneo, lo entiendo porque yo soy así. the romance was the best kind: a bit of a slowburn but with gestures that didn’t make me want to reach the big moment soon. in this book, jessie needs to stay somewhere while her house got renovated and drew also needs someone to be his fake date in an upcoming event, so what next?

Te advierto que no vengas con las expectativas altas porque te pasará como yo que esperabas una relación linda como la de Cooper y Lucy, pero te encuentras con un chico que da todo de sí por una chica que (en mi opinión) no lo merece. in the first book i wanted to glare at him to leave lucy and cooper alone (only child struggles), but in this book i absolutely wanted to glue myself to him because, uh, perfection does exist and his name is andrew marshall. Sarah is a coffee addict, a British history nerd, a mom of two daughters, married to her best friend, and an indecisive introvert. When pregnant Jessie needs a place to stay, Drew's mostly empty house is the perfect solution, but once again, it's an all-out war of unbelievable pranks that had me gasping, laughing, and even swooning. the chemistry between them is just so perfect, their banters and their pranks are always funny and so entertaining.

But there was absolutely no chemistry and I honestly couldn't wrap my head around how he dealt with Jessie. i def love watching drew and jessie's development from hating each other to slowly become friends and then more. On the surface, the reader sees the humor, but as the coatings are stripped away, a raw vulnerability is discovered, treating the reader to a gamut of emotions, with love and amusement prevailing. I could understand Drew's side, retaliation for something he didn't fully understand, but Jessie was a bit over the top. jessie and drew have a ton of chemistry and i couldn’t stop smiling through the entirety of the book.I also laughed a lot thanks to the pranks of the characters in them, even the verbal fights were extra. Jessie and Drew hate each other for all the wrong reasons, and what they’re willing to do to annoy each other is hilarious and almost endless. Detesto cuando los personajes usan de excusa que los abandonaron en la vida para ser unos desagradables.

While I did hate Drew in the first book, this book did show a nice side to Drew and he was adorable at times. jess’ character is so vindictive and immature for no good reason and apparently according to the other reviews, for most of the book, I just refuse to wade through it to get to the HEA. Drew Marshall may have let me move into his spare bedroom while my house is being renovated, but don’t think for one second his kindness comes without strings. I was barely into the book when I knew I would not be able to stomach the hate and immaturity of Jess. She's quick on her feet and those comebacks fall from her mouth before she can even finish thinking of them.Even if it’s a favorite, the enemies-to-lovers and/or the hate-to-love trope is either a hit or miss for me.
