Hell, when I first added this on Goodreads it literally only had about 20 or 25 other people who had also added it (so I truly found it very early on). It made me so happy that Christian actually thanked Stella for listening to him too like he didn’t think she would actually listen to him or get what he was telling her. Alex, despite how his possessiveness was something that I did not like at first (because if I’m being honest, I don’t like possessive/jealous/controlling men), was another one of those types of hero's who are soft on the inside but cold on the inside.

The car ride is tense with strained conversation and barely contained hostility that demonstrate the emotional distance between Alex and Ava. also, i wanted more scenes of them of how they are as a couple because i just don't see Alex being all soft towards Ava. There wasn't really much personality to the characters, I feel like Alex was just the classic grumpy, doesn't like anyone kind of guy and Ava was kind of bland for me like I mean other than her dramatic past there wasn't much else to her. But with Ava, he ended up changing the rules and after having her from behind, he ended up being on top of her as she faced him, but THE SCENE FADED TO BLACK. I loved their dynamic, but I do feel like the enemies part of their relationship was short lived because they jumped to an enemies with benefits so fast.

I didn't really like Rhys that much tbh like he was kind of boring, but like when he was with Bridget he was very whipped. he followed her around FOR A FUCKING YEAR in another fucking country and idk waited for her to forgive him. They were written so flawedly and so unlovable, yet this book shows that even the unlovable can be lovable, and that's what I love about this series.This book had the best plot to it and it tied so well together with the way things played out throughout the book it was creative, maybe predictable, but I loved every turn in it. The last thing she needs is to get involved with a doctor who puts the SUFFER in insufferable…no matter how good-looking he is. A few weeks later, they both give into their desire for one another, having sex at a hotel and then dating in earnest. meet, Alex(H): he has a god complex you can't rival, a dick for days, a massive ego, works as a full-time stalker for six months, will get jealous of a fly if it dares to hover around ava for more than a second, thinks he's the most special mf on god's green earth, isn't scared of anything not even wild animals, has HSAM (Highly Superior Autobiographical Memory) that he uses to relive a traumatic event of his past bec he's weird like that, is a walmart version of Christian Grey, and he's so freaking smart that he quadrupled his investments and also became a millionaire in high school because of a technology he invented 🥺💅🏻 doesn't he sound like an absolute bombastic slay?

Everything about it was rlly good, I liked how this wasn't fast-paced like the other books, it was more of a slow-burn.I think the plot was a little eh just because I like mysteries and it didn’t have a lot of that in it but it still had a decent plot with over turning the parliament and erhall.
