About this deal

Squier's Contemporary series is another more recent addition to the roster, and offers a range of modern takes on classic guitars that we've not seen before from Squier. You'd be mistaken for thinking that there's plenty of hot-rodded Strats on the market already, but at this price point, there's definitely room for one more. The Classic Vibe range consists of higher spec vintage-inspired models. They're loosely based on '50s, '60s and '70s Fender designs, and are finished to a higher level than their cheaper Squier counterparts. The Classic Vibe range has always been one of the best, but in recent years we've seen Squier really close the gap with the Fender-branded instruments in terms of build and sound quality and overall feel. Paranormal

It’s a good question, to be honest. There’s never been a better time to buy a cheap or budget-friendly electric guitar - with many brands and manufacturers producing great products at an alarming rate - so why should you opt for one of the best Squier guitars over anything else? Beginner and amateur guitar players are very much like this: more than searching for the best guitar they can afford, they want something that feels easy and light on their hands. It’s a plus if the instrument also sounds good and something that can grow as you grow. Something you can even improve as you go along your musical journey. What you’ll love, though, is how comfortable it feels when you play it, and while it doesn’t have the cleanest tone or the highest range, it works really well. Friendly features include a lightweight body that’s easy to carry even for children, so this can be your son or daughter’s first electric guitar. Aside from those few shortcomings, the Squier Bullet Stratocaster is a solid electric guitar in most ways.

About Squier Stratocaster

Fender acquired the Squier brand in 1965. By 1982, Fender rebranded Squier as started using the subsidiary as a way to produce low-cost guitars and basses following the same Fender designs. The Squier Bullet Stratocaster runs a die-cast tuner inspired by Fender Stratocaster’s original tuners. This is a slightly more complex tuner than you’ll find on other beginner guitars, but once you’ve gotten used to it works great and it does hold tune really well –better than some of my more expensive guitars, in fact. Both the tuners and the tremolo bridge comes in chrome and performs very well, so the hardware is definitely a plus. Beginner guitarists usually can’t tell the difference between tonewood tones, and neither can most people. And still, they can carry a great looking guitar to the stage. Which one of these two series is better depends entirely on you. The Affinity is the better guitar, but it also costs more. In terms of value, they are basically equal.

While Squier is owned by Fender - and they both make near identical instruments - the companies are separated by a few different factors. Good advice is to buy the best quality guitar you can afford. But is this true for someone who doesn’t need the best sound possible money can buy? Today, modern Fender Stratocasters are made in Japan, Mexico or the United States at Fender’s Corona factory. However, for many guitarists, a Fender Strat may be out of their budget. That’s where Squier comes in. If you’re looking for an affordable Stratocaster, Squier is a great choice. Fender’s entry-level brand is the only company aside from Fender that can make genuine Stratocasters. In addition to this, the Squier Bullet Stratocaster also features a tremolo bridge which lets you use a whammy bar if that’s your thing. Again, absolute beginners can leave the tremolo bridge completely alone, if they wish, but it is there if you want to start messing around with things. Tremolo bridges aren’t exactly common on cheap guitars either, so this is a nice feature to have at your disposal. Can You Modify The Squier Bullet Stratocaster? The only thing I must say is, just like the Bullet Strat, the whole Squier Bullet series is built for beginner guitar players. These are simple, affordable, lightweight guitars with a good, overall warm tone, surprising versatility, and the timeless Fender guitars’ looks.

This guitar comes with a synced tremolo bridge, which is synonymous to durable, quality bridges you can really have fun with. Also, this is not very common for affordable guitars. Sure, the Standard Die-Cast tuning machines could be better (you won’t stay in tune forever, especially when using the tremolo bar). But I’d say they’re more stable than many guitars at this price. The Squier Bullet Special [ edit ] All factory colors for the Squier Bullet Special. All of these examples have been modified by the owner.
