Thank you so much for these beautiful stories and for bringing so much joy and magic to our classroom.

In addition to bite marks and claw marks, the robot was also covered in dirt, which, of course, meant it was time for another cleaning. My name is Ryder Caligure from Buckingham elementary bend, Oregon and I was inspired by your great writing detail but most of all your illustrations there perfect for your book type and nobody could do anything close to what you can do. We are hoping that there will be a third book soon – and many of my students think that there should be a movie made of each of the books so far. Most mornings, the island residents would gather in the Great Meadow and spend the hour chatting with friends. The weird thing about this story is that, although other ideas have come and gone, it seems to be one that really wants to live.The plot, the characters, the writing all became simpler, and they gradually started fitting together like puzzle pieces.

Roz could feel her Survival Instincts—the part of her computer brain that made her want to avoid danger and take care of herself so she could continue functioning properly. I’m planning to make little picture books about Roz and Brightbill on the island, to show my friends. The RECOS is about to crush Brightbill when vultures deposit a rifle taken from one of the other RECOS onto the shore. CHAPTER 24 THE ACCIDENT As Roz wandered through springtime, she saw all the different ways that animals entered the world. They will use this information to draw a labelled diagram of Roz and Brightbill’s new house, making sure they include the features mentioned.My students (as do I) absolutely LOVE your books – we also have a couple of your other fiction books as well in our classroom library! He came upstairs to tell me that this was the best book he ever read – and that is saying something because he reads ALOT! As the robot looked out at the island, it never even occurred to her that she might not belong there.
