About this deal

I live in Southern California and during the summers, the temperature hits as high as 110 degrees Fahrenheit. So making these no-bake cookie dough bites paired with ice cream is perfect for this hot weather! Tips & Procedures: We went home and set out to recreate our own DIY cake bites so we can enjoy them more often. After a few test recipes we absolutely love these homemade Birthday Cake Cookie Dough Bites without eggs. Using a few basic ingredients, it’s so easy to make this from scratch mixture that comes together in less time than it takes to bake a traditional batch. Use one fork to dip cake bites and tap that fork up against a second fork to help remove excess chocolate.

Cookie scoop– Use these to make the dough balls. It goes super fast and helps to make the dough into uniform balls. butter: unsalted is my preference for this edible sugar cookie dough, softened to room temperature. Salted butter will work, just omit the salt from the recipe. Almond flour: you’ll need a bit of blanched, fine almond flour to hold these energy bites together and keep them gluten free. No subs!Sprinkles: for that true birthday cake flair! I like these all natural sprinkles, but this brand makes really fun, all natural ones, too.

Gradually mix in the powdered sugar and flour 2 cups at a time. Pour in the milk between each addition. To bake them into the cake, first evenly distribute the cake batter between 3 8-inch round cake pans. Then, press 5 cookie dough “patties” into each cake pan. They should be evenly distributed all around the cake (see picture above). Then, carefully spread the cake batter on top until you can no longer see the cookie dough. Now they’re ready to bake! The cookie dough will be harder in the refrigerator as the butter solidifies. Let the cookie dough sit a room temperature for a few minutes and it will soften. With a few minor tweaks and revisions to my Edible Cookie Dough, this version is a copycat of my favorite movie theater candy: Chocolate Chip Cookie Dough Bites. With their rich buttery flavor and studs of sweet chocolate chips, these no-bake balls are perfectly portioned and taste better than anything that you buy in a box! Why We Love This Cookie Dough Bites RecipeFreeze the dough for a few hours until it’s firm, then transfer the portions to a resealable freezer bag. Label the bag with the date and store it in the freezer for up to 3 months. Butter- Unsalted butter and salt can be substituted with salted butter if needed. Since this recipe contains so few ingredients, I recommend using a high quality butter, like Kerrygold, if possible. Butter needs to be room temperature - not cold, not melted.

Sprinkle white chocolate chips evenly over butter. Then pour can of sweetened condensed milk over chips. This is the ultimate cookie dough cake! It has vanilla chocolate chip cake layers that are super moist. It is filled with chocolate frosting and edible cookie dough. The entire cake is topped with chocolate chip buttercream and a chocolate drip. The cookie dough is lower in sugar, so it isn't too sweet. Spread an even layer of buttercream between each cake layer. Each layer uses one large heaping scoop using a standard sized rubber spatula. The ingredients used in protein birthday cake cookie dough vary depending on the recipe, but they typically include protein powder, almond flour, coconut oil, almond milk, vanilla extract, and a natural sweetener like stevia or honey. Sprinkles are added for a pop of color and sweetness. Scoop (15) 1 1/2-tbsp sized balls and flatten slightly. I used this small cookie scoop to because it dispenses the perfect amount. Set the cookie dough “patties” on a plate lined with wax paper and place those and the leftover dough in the fridge. This decadent cookie dough cake is the best cake. It has a moist chocolate chip cake. The filling is the best part. It has edible cookie dough and chocolate! Chill: Chill in the refrigerator for 30 minutes to set. Plate and serve cold. Enjoy! (these are delicious mixed in with vanilla ice cream!) Toast the raw flour before using it for this no-bake cookie dough bites recipe. Heating it up will eliminate any risk of bacteria.

To ensure there is no breakage while frosting the cake, transfer them to the fridge to chill for at least an hour before assembling the cake. Protein birthday cake cookie dough is a type of cookie dough that is made with protein powder and other nutritious ingredients. It has a sweet, cake-like flavor that is reminiscent of a birthday cake, and it is often studded with colorful sprinkles to add to its festive appeal. It has the perfect texture and natural flavor from from the almond butter, almond extract and protein powder. Heat treated flour- To make the cookie dough safe, the flour gets cooked first. Since raw flour is unsafe to eat.To properly measure flour, I highly recommend using a kitchen scale and measuring by weight. You can find the gram measurements in the recipe card below. First, make the frosting without the chocolate chips. Use a small amount on the board you are decorating on to keep the cake in place. The recipe is so easy to vary. You can make these cookie dough bites your own very easily. Use gluten free flour, add in some other fun flavors, maybe even toss in some chocolate chips! You never have to make them the same twice.
