Was I searching for a dancer whose name I did not know or was I searching for the dancing part of myself? Jordan, p.40 This being the third book I've read by Winterson, I've concluded that she is certainly not the average writer. She's incredibly unique, and there is an oddity in her works. Winterson is definitely an acquired taste, but I've realised she's definitely 'my taste.' If the existence of time itself can be questioned then what does that say about the nature of reality? What does Winterson mean when she says “matter, that thing the most solid and the well known, which you are holding in your hands and which makes up your body, is now known to be mostly empty space.
